City Sightseeing Open Top Tour in Norwich
IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL NOTICE:
Please note our City Sightseeing Norwich Tours are currently suspended, effective Spring 2024 until a new operator can be found following the passing of operator David McMaster in 2023.
Take an open-top bus and enjoy panoramic views of the Fine City of Norwich with fascinating recorded commentary along the way on the history and background of what was once the largest walled city in Europe. Take the opportunity to hop-on and hop-off at any of the 9 different stops along the route to further explore some of the wonderful attractions of this beautiful medieval city. Please note that the tour operates seasonally between April and October.
Information & Booking
You’ll find us centrally located on Castle Meadow. Look out for the City Sightseeing Bus Stop flag outside the main pedestrian entrance to Castle Quarter Shopping Centre. The nearest car park is at Castle Quarter. Pick up your free visitor map from various outlets around the city.
Our bus is low-floor and easy-access with a ramp and bay for a wheelchair user. Please note that the wheelchair bay is located on the ground floor of the bus undercover. Our tour commentary is recorded in English.
Tickets can be purchased from the Driver and are valid for 24 hours so passengers can hop-on and hop-off at any of the 9 stops on the route. You can buy your tickets from the driver on the day, using cash or contactless – or, if you’d prefer, you can book online through the City Sightseeing website. Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use, which means you can hop on and off as much as you like to explore the city. Please note concession pass holders are entitled to a discounted fare but not free travel. For a discounted student rate, please present a valid student ID.
Timetable & Fares
TOUR SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE SPRING 2024
Tours Depart Stop 1 at Castle Meadow although you can join the tour at any of our stops. The tour duration is approximately 45 minutes.
The tour runs in season April to October only…
Daily from 1st April to 30th September at 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00 (NO TOUR AT 13.00)
Tuesdays to Saturdays from 3rd to 28th October at 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00 (NO TOUR AT 13.00).
Tickets can be purchased from the Driver and are valid for 24 hours so passengers can hop-on and hop-off at any of the 9 stops on the route.
Adults - £14
Senior Citizens and Students - £12
Children aged 5-15 - £7
Family Tickets - £35 for 2 adults and 3 children.
Save £2 when you ‘Park & Ride’ with a discount on the presentation of your valid Park & Ride ticket.
