Hooray, we’re getting back on the road soon! We’ve missed operating our tour and can’t wait to return to what we do best – showing you ‘the best of Norwich’ this summer.

The Open Top City Sightseeing Tour Bus will be back between 18th May to 26th September 2021 operating 4 tours daily, 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday (not operating Mondays). Tours depart from Stop No. 1 outside the Castle Quarter Shopping Centre at 11.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00.

So that everybody can enjoy the tour, we have introduced Covid-19 safety measures so face masks must be worn whilst on board (unless you are exempt). Social distancing measures are in place at queueing points and on board.

About the tour

Take an open-top bus and enjoy panoramic views of the Fine City of Norwich with fascinating recorded commentary along the way on the history and background of what was once the largest walled city in Europe.

Hop-on, hop-off

Take the opportunity to hop-on and hop-off at any of the 9 different stops along the route to further explore some of the wonderful attractions of this beautiful medieval city

Find us

You’ll usually find us on Castle Meadow. Look out for the City Sightseeing bus stop flag outside the main pedestrian entrance to Castle Quarter shopping centre. The nearest car park is at Castle Quarter. Pick up your free visitor map from various outlets around the city.

18th May – 26th September – 6 days a week

The Open Top City Sightseeing Tour Bus will be back between 18th May to 26th September 2021 operating 4 tours daily, 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays).  Tours depart from Stop No. 1 outside the Castle Quarter shopping Centre at 11.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00. 

Buy your ticket

Tickets can be purchased from the Driver and are valid for 24 hours so passengers can hop-on and hop-off at any of the 9 stops on the route. Adult tickets are £14, Senior Citizens and Students £12, Children aged 5-15 £7 and Family Tickets are available at £35 for 2 adults and 3 children. Plus – save £2 when you ‘Park & Ride’ with discount on presentation of a valid Park & Ride ticket.

Timetable 18th May – 26th September, Tuesday to Sunday (No Tour on Mondays):

Tours Depart Stop 1 at: 11:00, 12:00, 14:00, 15:00 (No Tour at 13:00) Tickets available from the driver. The tour duration is approximately 45 minutes.

Travelling into Norwich on the Park & Ride? Save £2 with a valid Park & Ride display ticket.

Other information

You can buy your tickets from the driver on the day, using cash or contactless* – or, if you’d prefer, you can book online through the City Sightseeing website.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use, which means you can hop on and off as much as you like to explore the city. 

Please note concession pass holders are entitled to a discounted fare but not free travel.

For the discounted student rate, please present a valid student ID.

Our bus is low-floor and easy-access, with a ramp and dedicated bay for wheelchair users. Please note that the wheelchair bay is downstairs on the bus.
